Join us for a Musical Theater Master Class at BWR with John Scacchetti, Thursday, June 22 from 1:00 – 2:30! $25 per dancer.


John Scacchetti has performed on Broadway in the 2001 Revival of 42nd Street, and the 2008 Revival of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone. National Tour credits include 42nd Street, and My Fair Lady directed by Trevor Nunn and choreographed by Matthew Bourne. Regional credits include Phil Davis in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain (Gateway Playhouse), George in The Drowsy Chaperone (The Cape Playhouse), Mike in A Chorus Line (Weston Playhouse), Slats in Good News!, and How To Succeed…(Goodspeed Opera House). John was recently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance at Western Carolina University where he reset the Original Broadway Choreography for their production of Gypsy. John holds a BS in theatre performance from Bradley University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Please join us for a reading by poets Meg Johnson of Iowa and Caryl Pagel of Cleveland. Open mic to follow. Meg Johnson is the author of the full length poetry collection Inappropriate Sleepover (The National Poetry Review Press, 2014). Her second book, The Crimes of Clara Turlington, won the 2015 Vignette Collection Award and was recently published by Vine Leaves Press. Meg’s poems have appeared in Hobart, Nashville Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, The Puritan, Sugar House Review, Verse Daily, and others. Her nonfiction has appeared in BUST, Ms. Magazine, The Good Men Project, and Bustle. She received her MFA in creative writing from the NEOMFA Program and is the editor of Dressing Room Poetry Journal.
