Call for Gallery Exhibit Submissions

The Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Art Gallery is located in the main hall of Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, on the first floor adjacent to the multi-purpose room.  The gallery hosts 6-7 exhibitions per year, highlighting the work of regional artists.  Each exhibition runs for approximately 6 weeks, with an artist reception at the beginning of each show.  At least one exhibition per year focuses on a Jewish cultural connection.

The Thomases Gallery Exhibitions Committee reviews proposals for exhibitions several times per year, and artists are encouraged to apply at any time.  Submission of materials does not constitute automatic acceptance into programming.  The curator and exhibitions committee reserve the right to selection of artists, and their artwork, based on quality and display requirements.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 years or older.  Interested artists should send an artist statement, resume or curriculum vitae, 4 or more images (JPG or PDF), and an image list indicating title, dimensions, medium, and date to kgibbons@jewishyoungstown.org. Posted 6.8.17
